Malaut’s Black Knights are hell-spawned spirits that are bound to outsized, humanoid-shaped suits of platemail. Their home is the Shadelands, the decadent half- dimension of the demon prince Malaut, and they are summoned to Agon by the Demon Prince’s foremost servants, the Below.

These giant beetles measure 130 cm. from hind legs to hornlike jaws. Their bodies are covered by an exceptionally hard shell which deflects most blows, while their heads and long legs are slightly more vulnerable.

These giants are even more dim-witted than other giants, and just as cruel and warlike. They live on the sun-baked and wind-plagued wasteland continent of Cairn, where they subside on whatever they can scavenge, kill or plunder.

A row of sharp spikes protrude from the spinal ridges of these awe-inspiring monsters, whose hide is rocklike in appearance and solidity. Crogs move - with surprising speed - on muscular, trunk-like legs that end in feet which are clad in layers of bone and scale.

The leather-skinned darkgliders are feared predators, who hunt the jungles of Yssam as well as many lava-heated caverns beneath the Agon mainland. The Darkglider’s bat-like hide is a dark shade of brown, offering particularly excellent camouflage in the underground depths.
